Welcome to Patriot Corgis! We are a small, dedicated hobby breeder located in Burlington, Washington, passionately focused on raising healthy, well-socialized Pembroke Welsh Corgi & American Corgi puppies. Our love for this wonderful, expressive breed is at the heart of everything we do.
Here at Patriot Corgis, we strive to produce outstanding puppies that are structurally sound, genetically and physically healthy, and have wonderful temperaments. We are a small program with high expectations. We work hard to ensure a seamless transition to their forever homes through early neurological stimulation, noise desensitization, crate & potty training. I have done my best to acquire the best puppies for our program from my mentor breeders in the PNW. Only the best of the best for this program!
Our dogs get to be dogs here on our homestead and are loved members of our family. I believe in giving our dogs the best quality of life possible.
We strive to produce breed standard, structurally correct, sound-minded, great temperament, well-socialized puppies. All of our puppies are raised in our heat & air controlled kennel from the day they are born until the time they go home to their new families at eight weeks old. Training your puppy actually begins at 3 days old! They are raised around our homestead with our other animals, our grandkids and given lots of love!!
My goal is to make the transition to their forever home as seamless as possible for all involved.
In the short time that we have your puppies, we do our best to prepare them for a long, well-rounded life with YOU!

Health First: All of our breeding dogs are thoroughly health-tested according to the recommendations of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America (PWCCA). This includes genetic testing for common Corgi ailments like Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), von Willebrand Disease (vWD1), and EIC (Exercise-Induced Collapse). We provide full transparency regarding our dogs' health testing results.

Temperament is Key: We prioritize the classic Corgi temperament—intelligent, affectionate, and bold, but without excessive shyness or aggression. Our dogs are cherished family members who live inside our home and are accustomed to all the sights and sounds of a busy household.

Early Socialization: Our puppies are raised using early neurological stimulation (ENS) and a comprehensive socialization protocol. From day one, they are exposed to different textures, sounds, people, and environments to ensure they develop into confident, adaptable companions ready for their new homes.

Puppy Care Package: Each puppy goes home with a comprehensive care package, including initial registration papers, vaccination records, a bag of their current food, a blanket with their littermates' scent, and our detailed puppy guide.

Spay/Neuter Contract: All puppies are sold on a spay/neuter contract to approved pet homes only, unless otherwise discussed with a pre-screened show/performance home.

Susan has been an animal lover since birth. She has always loved corgi’s and decided to change her program to just the fun low riders she has today. Susan's lifelong passion for animals is evident in her experience breeding both Paint horses and miniature Australian Shepherds. While she once bred both, her program has since shifted to focus solely on the delightful low riders—Corgis—which she has always adored.
